Discuss some of the javascript you've learned and what you can use it for.
Do you need any help with any of the textbook problems, the ftp, creating a home page? Tell your fellow students the issue you are dealing with and let's see who can help you.

I can't seem to get my ftp to go.
ReplyDeleteI have checked the code to the best of my rememberance from web one that I took I believe 2 semesters ago. I have keyed in ftp.student.germanna.edu and signed in as hubbardNA used my password. but when i go to pull up the site after moving the files, and going to the blog site It pulled up as seen below. the problem I see witch might not be a problem at all is in the name hubbardN not hubbardNA. see below

I can't get the site to pull up my links even though it shows in my preview window. Any Ideas.

ReplyDeleteI've tried to decipher the problem based on what you've stated. I've checked your site link and it is indeed student.germanna.edu/hubbardna. I am getting a 403 Forbidden error when trying to view it which is probably what you're experiencing. I did however get your page to show by typing student.germanna.edu/hubbardna/index.html. Now I know it was stated to save the index file as .htm not .html. Might consider trying that... From what I see, it doesn't look like you have an FTP problem...
if you keep having a promble go to the tuting at the school

ReplyDeleteI had a problem with one of the challenges, then I realized i misspelled something, and then i felt dumb. Other than that no problems......yet
